Blind Items

Some years back a blind item was written by a seemingly struggling actress who shared how she was introduced into the world of yachting: Another actress lured her into the game by explaining yachting was mostly partying and just being a plus one to these guys. Not only are stars being brought in for this act but their names are also being used to recruit other women. The friend of the whistleblower just put a phone call through to a woman who gets a fee for sending people to model, who made it sound like super-easy money. She just couldn't resist the offer. It is quite a bargain to just sit pretty and be given cash in an envelope. This whistleblower continued that her friend had warned her that some agents tend to scam the models they're bringing in so she treated this like an acting job and requested $125,000 upfront. She also shared that after agreeing to this act the experience was not as glamorous as she expected.
In a few weeks they were traveling to the destination. A trip on the bus showed that Eastern European women made up the majority of the passengers. According to her co-star more and more Eastern European women are being hired because they are willing to have sexual relations every night
The whistleblower revealed insider information of what it’s like to be on a yacht: The models are all in the tiniest of bikinis and the guys are trying to slam their junk into the tightest Speedos they could find (and look ridiculous). There was a lot of groping and staring. One takeaway from the blind item was that men kept on comparing her beauty to that of a yacht. Men wanted to rub oil on you and have you rub it on them. She continued, You would be in the water and some guy would grab you and touch you, and they wanted to shower with you when you got out of the water.
She said the men told her she was just there to look pretty. In her experience most women on yachts slept with men, and she came to the conclusion after the trip that half of the models were looking to make as much money that week as possible and the other half wanted to find a husband.
She added the men were on their worst behavior– it was lots of drinking and hot sun in between the groping and comments and picture taking. You just felt like a piece of meat. She shared that she saw some poor model pass out, then witnessed guys filming and groping her while she was unconscious. It turned into a 3-hour sexual assault recorded on video and the anonymous whistleblower hated every bit of it
The whistleblower also shared that she cried for a week after her experience. She revealed the depth of how disgusted she was by saying that there was not enough hot water to make her feel clean after those days of cruises. But just after her trip to France she was invited to go to Cannes to promote a show she was in but she declined as she was still traumatized by her last experience.
A second whistleblower shared the perspective of a yacht employee. He said that working on these yachts isn't as glamorous as you would think. It is just days of sleepless nights and the rich getting away with things. Sexual harassment on the yacht is quite the norm and the victims are paid off afterward. His reality of working on the luxurious yachts was cleaning up after orgy parties. He said he’d even encountered things as deep as someone dying by overdose on the boat.
