I'm Testing out this theory that there is a song in each of the 'Multiple Taylor's Series' that talks about the same situation from each different perspective. We're remembering the physical portrayals from the Anti-Hero music video that gave us the map to Taylor's plan of introducing each persona. See my other posts about it:

Obviously not every song has a 1:1:1 match, because the tracklists are different lengths. But I thought it would be a fun exercise none-the-less, and might be enlightening.
All 3 of these songs relate bouncing on the to emotional recovery. In Robin, the caretakers and insiders are shielding Taylor from things to spare her from pain. It's not completely altruistic as these people are instigating (and benefitting from) her rise in fame. In Labyrinth, Taylor talks about fame coming too fast and being unsustainable, as well as people turning against her once she's made it. And she's just expected to roll with it and bounce back as if nothing traumatized her. And in Eldest Daughter, Taylor reveals how she fronts a hard outer shell to protect her sensitivities. She admits she has learned to
but she also fakes it til she makes it. Let's talk about the personas behind these differing perspectives of the same issues.
Midnights' Giant Taylor tries to power through the hurt and scandals. She breathes trying to meditate her way through. She Breaks up, though, and down. This Taylor knows the pain and strife are fleeting, mentally, but her heart will never forget. She struggles to do what's expected even though it's a laborious grind.
TTPD's Poet Taylor looks back in time, per The Manuscript, in order to move forward. She remembers back to her childhood where she was being groomed for fame. Tethers and levers have always been imposed on her in order to curate the image that would draw the most success and money. Things were hidden from her to keep her innocent and performing.
TLOAS' Showgirl Taylor had learned how to rehearse and perform fame. She has perfected the facade, though it still hurts just as much inside. And this persona feels protective over the other two personas (Giant & Poet) expounding that it's the outside world that's the problem. Other people are mean and apathetic, so she (Showgirl) will remain at the forefront in order to protect the others.
