Guitar-Tim. The plucking bridge too slow. Clapping. ‘wine mouth’ part slow and quiet. Fast pieces in Tim's solo-ends w/drums. Can actually hear base. Drums. Lots of cymbals. Chaotic. Cheers. Gets fast.

Weird buzzing instrument. CLacking. No lyrics yet. Horn good. Plucking. Train drums. Short Tim solo. Cuts off bad.

Flute at start. Pinging. Clip-clopping. Train guitar. Tim sprinkles. Dave mumble-skat. Faster. Can hear Tim snippets. Big Tim cool solo w/amped drums. Buh-buh-bas. Rolling end. 1st version similar to current. Drum gets crazy! Everyone chaotic. Energy up! Carter & Tim feeling it. Best of 1st 4 version.

Weird high base pre-lyric. Dave mumble pre-lyric. Lot of guitar plunging. Train guitar. Train drum. Sprinkle of horn & base. Slows down-Tim little quiet solo. Buh-buh-bas from quiet stepping up to loud. Get very quiet on drums again-fade almost out. Crowd cheers. Loud again drum & base. Drum crazy solo! Major drums. Rolling. Gets very quiet. Fades out. Cheer. Come back w/Buh-buh-bas. Can hear base well. Little muddy during chaos ramp-up. Drum rolling. I've heard them finish harder. Carter was all energy tho. I think 4 still better.

Quiet singing. What a story lyric intro. Buh-buh-bas. Rolling. Keyboard solo-gets quiet. Thank yous. Rolling is very teeny & quiet. Gets louder. More muted one horn note end. Shorter end.

Bela! Banjo prior to words. Lyrics good. First solo banjo w/train drum.Gets faster! Lots of dave herr-huh-herr-ohhhh. Shorter.

Lots of keyboard solo. A slower version. Some drumming toward the end of long, long keys solo. Carter really good at chaotic end.

Crowd clap/chant. Muffled weird distorted scratchy base prior to lyrics. Whisper-high pitch pre-lyric. Dave sounds like grunting/straining (not in a bad way) Shouts emphatically. Crowd is best-bananas! Can hear base well. Plucking. Mumble-skat. Audience has musical chant during this. Tim solo pretty cool. Base solo. Drum solo (just ok). Comes back faster rolling. Crowd chant. Fake end. Crowd chant. Chaotic end, muted. Train drums. Faster crowd chant & clap. Tim goes faster. And faster! It's so good! Faster still and more chaotic. Tim going crazy. Carter is into it. Last note 11+x Crowd goes crazy. Carter/tim/crowd. WOWWOWWOWWIE!!! Everybody goes crazy. Dave wails. Best long, long ending! Better than 5,but 5 shud still be on a list.

Mumble (no lyrics). Instruments a bit sparse. 

11 Live Trax Vol. 47: 6.8.97 - Meadows Music Theatre - Hartford, CT

Crowd. Robotic sounds prior to lyrics. Dave very short pre-lyric mumble. Banjo snippets. Dave singing like 90s band (soundgarden?). Horn/drum train b/w sounds good. Can hear banjo snips during lyrics. Dave dreamy mumble during bridge. Banjo solo! Fast. Really good, really long banjo solo! Gets quiet. Carter crazy on drums at end. Short, non-drawn out chaotic end. Best banjo so far. 2nd best list?

Loud crowd cheers. Specialized guitar pre-lyrics. Jesus pre-actual lyrics. Dave a bit croak. Dave starting to shout. Big horn/base intro. Plinging.  Dave emphatic singing. Horns sound good. Tim solo. Quiet. Carter solo-he goes ballistic & so does crowd. Pause. Train drums. Base comes in. Guitar comes in. Carter working hard. Loud! Crowd! Tim going crazy w/Carter. Rolling. Faster. Super-fast. Enthusiastic!!! Tim jams, Carter still crazy, band fast & fucking feeling it! Fast. Stop & crowd goes ape. Base fades out. Stops. Wow! Best whole band energy! 

13 Live Trax Vol. 10: 5.25.07 - Pavilion Atlantico - Lisbon, PRT

Tim pre-lyrics. Dave pre-lyrics, guns & bombs. Can hear keys during lyrics. Keys solo. It's jazzy but despite high energy doesn't sound urgent or frenzy. Keys just OK in this song. Get quiet. Drum. Loud again. Rolling. Carter shorter than others. Dave wail. Not as good as other versions. 

14 Live Trax Vol. 35: 6.20.09 - Post-Gazette Pavilion - Burgettstown, PA

Dave wail sounds.Train drums. Dave sounds good. Tim rocks out on solo! Long rolling part. Mumble pre-lyrics. Tim tiny solo. Train drum. Can hear base & trumpet during lyrics. Tim wails on guitar. Carter going for it. High energy drum solo that doesn't necessary sound good. Big crowd cheer. Rollin. Quiet. Tim solo. Tim going hard at close w/Carter. Frantic. Thought it was end then there were more drums & Tim. 12 still better.

Prominent drums. Dave singing 90s sound garden. Drums loud. Horn snippets. Quiet. Drum quiet tap solo. Teeny quiet drum solo. Quiet stuff too long. Ramps up. Finally. Rolling. Carter on point. Goes crazy at end. Added to drums list. 

16 Live Trax Vol. 46: 7.7.18 - Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center - Noblesville, IN

Slow part. Calypso snippets. Dave’s voice sounds tired. Can hear keys during lyrics. Kinda slow Tim jam. Tim interlude (can't remember song). Carter ramps up. Carter & Keys. Hard stop. Comes back, goes very quiet. Buh-buh-bas come back increasingly louder. Rocking at end. Frenzy sounds good. Tim fast + key snippets while Carter rolls is super-fast super good end to ending. Tim on fire! They stop. But then come back 3x faster. It's insane. Robot sounds. Not as good as 9 or 12 but deserves to be on a list.

Dave yells prior to lyrics. Long drum solo. Tim big solo w/rolling drums. Carter big solo. Primarily all drum fancy stuff. Big end when Tim goes ape and horns and still Carter. Segway to “people” cover.

18 Live Trax Vol. 19: 9.30.08 - Vivo Rio - Rio de Janeiro, BRA

Put me to sleep intro. Dave happy enthusiastic utterances. Tim solo. Tim going pretty crazy. Carter long solo. Rollin. Carter destroys at the end. Dave howls. It's good but not the very best. Drum list.
