Pipes, gay sensibility, dramatic, emotional, sensitive, descriptive

American Queen-A happy scenario of a gay boy succeeding in high school.

Optimistic.

Andrew- Dating a closet-case is relatable for the queer community. It ends up in

heartache.

Treehouse- Comparing love to this structure. It may be a bit OTT and cheesy,

but it's catchy. Pretty slow with little/no beat gives an intimate theatre feel.

Fear of missing out- It's short and quiet, but sweetly sung.

Honeymind- Falsetto singing.

Home of the terrified- Wanting to protect your child from the cruel world. a

more realistic portrayal of being queer in America than American Queen. He knows his child

cannot be shielded. But he's still hopeful things will improve And he'll be OK.

Boy who hung the moon- Sweet song of fatherly love. When his son doesn’t like

himself or has doubts, he should remember his dad thinks he’s everything.

Could also be for a lover, but the album seems to progress into the parenting

phase of life.

Monsters- To a child. A lullaby with operatic singing. Don’t grow up too fast,

there will be plenty of time for adult troubles. Just stay innocent and happy for

now.

Slow down boy, 'cause there's no hurry

Sure as the ticking of time

You'll be old in the blink of an eye
