I’m not a Meghan Markle hater, nor am I a Meghan fan girl. I feel pretty neutral and indifferent about her. To me, it’s just like engaging with ‘Days of our Lives’, but real world edition. I absolutely know the British Monarchy is corrupt and racist, because–hello, colonialism. Obvs.

I also think Meghan has perhaps played up the royal racism for her own ends (whatever those are). But good on ‘em for speaking up and moving out. Now live your life and get out of my fucking face.

The press and tabloids have been outrageous per the usual. Blatantly racist, and misogynistic. Playing the Princesses and their husbands against each other for clicks. Exaggerating and outright lying for publicity. It’s gross.

The Oprah interview was… interesting. There were so many inconsistencies, omissions, half-truths, and lies. Which I think was a bad idea. Because I don’t at all doubt that the RBF was cold and unwelcoming. I am certain there were ridiculous standards and rules. And I know it was tough on a biracial, American, female, divorcee. There’s nothing surprising about that at all. It tracks.

But when Meghan says verifiably outrageous statements like she never knew about the royal family or Googled them prior to Harry, it’s fucking preposterous, and undermines the credibility of the entire interview.

There have been suspicions that Megan Markle way before her royalty days may have been involved in dark yachting.

Actual evidence of of this would prove rather problematic and embarrassing for Harry and scandalous for the Royal Family. Though there is no hard proof that has ever emerged in relation to these allegations of her being a yacht girl and or previously knowing prince Andrew.
