Marcus Anderson has been in Meghan's inner circle for years and is reportedly her closest friend. His job involves working on the launches of various Soho House branches across the world and overall brand publicity.

Both Megan and Marcus both live in Toronto though they do travel together frequently. They jetted off to Madrid together for a getaway, they've also traveled to New York together and been pictured all over town in Toronto arm-in-arm.

Meghan was wining and dining her way through Canada for her now defunct lifestyle blog The Tig when she came across Toronto restaurant The Harbord Room. Meghan and Cory, Vitiello, a Toronto-based chef hit it off right away, and they wound up dating for two years. Cory's mother Joanne Vitiello admitted "It was serious. They were living together in the house, and they were in their 30s, so they weren't young kids." An insider tells Life & Style that the Suits actress “was in a bumpy phase” with her on/off boyfriend Cory.

Cory is a founding member of Toronto’s Soho House.

Marcus Anderson knows Prince Harry via his job as Global Membership Director of the exclusive SoHo House.

As mutual friend to the royal and the Canadian actress, Markus played cupid and set up their date.
